Process
How a project comes together
From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, here's exactly what to expect when you work with us.
Consultation & Site Visit
We walk the space with you, discuss your vision, and assess the substrate to recommend the right terrazzo system.
Design & Sample Approval
Choose your aggregate, binder, and colour palette. We provide physical samples so you can see and feel the finish before we begin.
Surface Preparation
We prepare and prime the substrate, install dividers and reinforcement, and protect surrounding areas.
Pour & Cure
Terrazzo is poured, seeded, and left to cure fully — the foundation of a surface that lasts for decades.
Grind & Polish
Multiple passes of grinding and polishing reveal the aggregate and bring the surface to a smooth, lasting shine.
Seal & Walkthrough
We seal the finished surface, complete a final walkthrough with you, and provide simple care instructions.

Terrazzo is a composite material made of marble, quartz, granite, glass, or other aggregate chips set into a binder (cement-based or epoxy resin), then ground and polished to a smooth, even finish. It's prized for its durability, design flexibility, and seamless appearance.
Timelines depend on the size and type of project. A residential countertop typically takes 1-2 weeks from template to install, while large commercial flooring projects can take several weeks to allow for proper curing between stages. We'll give you a detailed schedule during your consultation.
Yes — it's one of the main reasons terrazzo is so popular for schools, arenas, hospitals, and commercial lobbies. Properly installed and sealed terrazzo can last 40+ years with minimal maintenance, even under constant foot traffic.
Absolutely. With the right sealant and slip-resistant finish, terrazzo performs well on patios, pool decks, and bathroom floors. We'll recommend the right system based on your project's exposure to moisture and weather.
Routine care is simple: regular sweeping or dust-mopping, occasional damp mopping with a pH-neutral cleaner, and resealing every few years depending on traffic. We provide a care guide with every completed project.
Yes. Submit a request through our quote form or give us a call, and we'll arrange a site visit or review your drawings to provide a detailed estimate at no cost.
We're based in Vancouver and serve the Lower Mainland, including Burnaby, Richmond, North & West Vancouver, Surrey, and the Fraser Valley. For larger commercial projects, we also travel further across BC — just ask.
Price depends on the system you choose (rustic, clear textured, or epoxy stone & quartz), the size and condition of the existing substrate, the complexity of the design (custom colours, patterns, or inlays), and whether the area is indoors or outdoors. We'll walk through all of these during your free consultation and provide a detailed, itemized quote before any work begins.
Yes — custom logo and pattern inlays are one of our specialties. We've created precision floor logos for shopping malls, pharmacies, and organizations like BCAA using coloured aggregate and metal divider strips. Send us your logo or design concept and we'll work out colours, materials, and placement with you.
Yes. All of our installations are backed by a workmanship warranty, and materials carry manufacturer warranties as well. Properly installed and maintained terrazzo routinely lasts 40+ years, and we stand behind our work — if something needs attention after the job is done, we're a phone call away.
